if Georgia is in the ACC they lose in the first round to Miami and no one ever hears from them
NCSU would beat Georgia like a drum...i dare someone to pick Georgia in their first round game, they should be in the play-in game

I don't necessarily think theres a big difference from UGA and Miami. Neither are particularly good. Miami has a little better post play overall, but both rely alot on their star guards in McClinton and Gaines. Gaines is a hoss.
I don't think Georgia will win their first game. Heck, I don't think Miami will win their either. I also don't think VT would have won if faced up against Xavier. You have to make a case for 3-4 teams to be out to really make a way for VT to qualify according to most analyst.
Pretty sure it was 2004 when Maryland won it down in Greensboro, before that it was the 90's. Maryland went to back to back final fours in 01 and 02 and didn't even make the ACC Championship game either year. It's a miracle to win that thing if your not a Carolina school

I was waiting to through that out there myself Drew. ETSU beat just as many tourney teams as VT did this year.
And who exactly has VT beaten this year besides themselves??..lol
I think they shouldve been in, they didnt oh well...all these teams that fuss about it wouldve been lucky to make it to the second round...
